Belstaff at the Oscars

Belstaff, famous of producing some of the first waterproof  “wax jackets” in the late 1920’s is now setting its eyes on the Oscars.

Collaborating with stylists and movie houses for features films is not something new, but at this year’s 80th Academy awards, Belstaff is all over the nomination block.

Johnny Depp’s leather trench coat in Sweeney Todd is up for Best Costume Design as well the “Dylan Jacket” worn by Cate Blanchett who is nominated for  Best Supporting Actress for her portrayal of Bob Dylan in I’m Not There.
