WIRED Online "How To" Section look to help the both wine novice and the connoisseur prepare their wine cellar for what many consider to be the end all of bottled disasters – the earthquake. "This article begins with a little earthquake theory, addresses cost, then shows an actual cellar on the earthquake-prone west coast of the United States (with lovely pictures). Specific instructions applicable to a wide variety of wine racks are provided. The finished project is a wine rack retrofit capable of withstanding surprisingly severe earthquakes, at a cost far less than commonly advertised alternatives."
To top it all off the article is built as a community based wiki which will allow for the community as a whole to add additional useful information to the document. Nicely done WIRED.
