On the whole, this campaign has been pretty good design wise. The Obama camp, certainly, one out with a very simple and effective logo. What’s lost against the positives are some rather horrendous designs. These, unlike many of the good ones, have actually permeated our day to day lives more rabidly. Teddy Blanks at the Design Observer, has prepared a nice run down of the less visually striking online banners. A good reminder that even with the tools available today, not all design works (or does what it proposes).
A worthy read given tomorrow’s finale.
