Korea’s General Idea is a young brand. Bumsuk Choi started the line back in Spring of 2004 and has (as we have mentioned) collaborated on a variety of projects around F1 Racing. But his strength will be in entering a U.S. market that is awfully hungry for the tailoring of Asian designers. “For Fall/Winter 2009, Bumsuk Choi focuses on highly tailored jackets and coats in geometric shapes and constructions. Bumsuk’s continuing color palette of black and gray are broken up with unexpected pops of bright color and metallic details. The line also includes quirky shirting, oversized knits, playful pants…”
