One of our main problems with Tricker’s was the pointy toe and sometimes awkward shape of the shoes. You can have all the heritage background and manufacturing prowess in the world, but it doesn’t mean much if the end result isn’t attractive.
Thankfully Museum Ark have made these custom order shoes – and that’s what all Tricker’s ‘collabs’ are, just custom orders – and have used a very handsome last to make these boots. We’re not usually fans of the long wing, but it really works in this circumstance. Word of warning – don’t wear these shoes (or any shoes with a leather sole) in rain, or you’ll be doing an involuntary James Brown impression during your trip to work. (Museum Ark)
