Heimann’s collection of advertisements focusing on the evolution of leisure forms the backbone of 20th Century Travel: 100 Years of Globe-Trotting Ads. In all, 400 are used in the publication, each playing a roll in a chronological survey of travel related graphic design. And, in each the American verve for exploring the globe comes through.
