The “Unmakeable” Interactive Book

Fast code design turns us onto Jonathan Safran Foer’s book ‘Tree of Codes’, which was once deemed unmakeable. According to FCD:

“The book is actually a kind of interactive paper-sculpture: Foer and his collaborators at Die Keure in Belgium took the pages of another book, Bruno Schulz’s The Street of Crocodiles, and literally carved a brand new story out of them using a die-cut technique.”

After being turned down by a host of publishers, Belgian publishers Die Keure proved that it was indeed possible. Take a leap to see more images and a video of how it was done.
