Aspen Fashion Week | Number:Lab

The inspirations for Number:Lab‘s Autumn/Winter 2011 runs deep. Some things won’t come as a surprise – like Zaha Hadid’s Bergisel structure – given founder Luis Fernandez’s background in architecture. Other inspirations – Colorado’s Air Force Academy and a more general notion of taking flight – might seem more nebulous. However, that is all part of the quest for perfection from the Number:Lab team.

At Aspen Fashion Week the Autumn/Winter collection proved the mission of polished and tailored sporting apparel possible. Sleek looks on the catwalk followed the reference points listed above and also infused a bit of rugged Winter sports (think hockey) cues. As a whole, the line is about giving guys a sense of endurance and power. It’s apres sport… but very much ready for any action.
