Selectism | Around the Web | Memorial Day – Hello Summer

01. What Song You Listening To? (above)

“Asking random New Yorkers with headphones on what song they are listening”

02. Pitchfork Guide to Summer Festivals

A disgustingly long guide to everything summer music festival related. EVERYTHING! “Memorial Day Weekend, the unofficial start of summer, is now here. And with it arrives the summer festival season, when those of us with the means and the willpower to do so could conceivably spend the warm months jetting around the world, standing in fields, and watching great bands play in front of heaving, sunburned throngs of people.” (pitchfork)

03. Watch PULP Reunite in Paris

“Last night (5/25), resurgent Britpop sensualists Pulp performed their first show since 2002. It took place at the appropriately named Le Bikini in Toulouse, France as a sort of warm-up to this weekend’s performance at Primavera Sound. If you’re curious how it went, check out this professionally shot video of Different Class classic “Disco 2000.” Good sign: Cocker does plenty of hip wiggles and pantomiming without pulling any muscles. We also have the complete (jam-packed) set list.” (stereogum)

04. Crosby, Nash & Young (Jimmy Fallon) Cover “Party In The USA”
