Lewis Leathers continue to impress with the release, or should we say re-release of the ‘Countryman’ and the ‘Lumber’. Popular models from the 30s through to the 50s, both represent a more gentlemanly take on motorcycle gear, as the handsome man with pipe on the original ads would suggest. The Countryman, cut from the finest sheep leather, features two large outside pockets, one inside chest pocket, tweed lining and yoke style shoulders. Attention to detail is everything at Lewis, their very own ‘Flash’ zippers as close to the original Lightning ones as possible and the knitted elasticated waistband almost identical to the one featured on the archive model. The equally smart ‘Lumber’ is much the same jacket with the exception of the front pockets. The time and research that goes into every component of their jackets is the reason Lewis Leathers continue to be the world’s finest motorcycle outfitters.
