The Turner Prize – George Shaw

By posted on

The Turner Prize will reach it’s conclusion on 5 December and while it continues to annoy those folk who think modern art is some sort of commie/liberal/Quinoa fueled conspiracy to confuse, the rest of us will just continue to enjoy its hit n’ miss offerings. One of this years finalists, George Shaw, featured in this Tate Short, paints sentimental, often bleak scenes from his childhood past that are filled with affection and a strong sense of a world that no longer exists. The man himself tells us more above.
