The late Harvey Pekar’s final work comes to us in March 2012 with the graphic novel, Harvey Pekar’s Cleveland. The graphic novel is a history of Pekar’s home city of Cleveland an we view it through his narration of its industrial highs and lows. Artist, Joseph Remnant illustrates the 128 page Cleveland in the style we would expect.
The great Alan Moore (Watchmen) introduces the new graphic novel: “Never trafficking in fiction, his work studiously avoids narrative flash and the twist-ending storytelling gimmickry that tends to draw attention to the writer rather than to what his or her writing is about.” Published by Top Shelf. Available from Amazon..
