A bit random for our purposes, but still interesting, Tern, a Taipei-based folding bike manufacturer with part of their design team stationed in Austin, TX has convinced the folks a SXSW to institute their first-ever bike share program using Tern’s Link D8 bike.
The program is called SXcycles and will be available during the conference’s “interactive” segment, March 9-13, with preregistration available here. As far as folding bikes go, Tern makes some of the better looking ones out there. Let’s hope
PBR Lone Star does not rust their frames.
