follow on from their ostentatious new store on Bond Street with a collection equally committed to luxury. Their presentation at London Fashion Week
revealed high quality hides reshaped into various bold pieces. This recent incarnation of the label still feels like a million miles from it’s origins though. There are plenty of nods to its motorcycling past; check the rider leather trousers, biker boots and basic structures of the outerwear. However you’ll be unlikely to see any of the Ace Cafe crew sporting this slick Italian take on the Staffordshire born label.
The top layers are indeed the strongest components of this collection. Knitwear does feature, however it seems strangely ‘light’ and overly detailed in comparison to the heavy jackets and dramatic overcoats. This line-up has a very specific audience and we doubt this includes anyone who actually owns a motorcycle. If it’s a take notice coat you’re after, look no further. More over at EMM.
