Hell of a headline, no? Well, the press release goes one better: “… the jackets incorporate pockets designed for concealed carry of a handgun that can be used as easily for a smart phone.” Yes, Smith & Wesson, global giant in the arena of handguns, rifles and handcuffs (est. 1852), has entered the apparel game.

Spurred on by the increased demand for heritage goods, they’ve teamed up with Wild Things, an outerwear company specializing in alpine gear and military goods. The alliance boasts men’s and women’s lines, both offering four each of jackets, vests, pants, and shirts. Here’s a look at the M Range and W Tracker jackets.

Not bad looking coats. It is tough to tell from these shots (no pun), but we suspect the fit might be a touch boxy. That’s fine, though, we might need the extra room for one of these or one of these.
