Arpenteur – Made in Lyon – Autumn/Winter 2012

Arpenteur are two Lyon based designers, Laurent and Marc, running one of the few labels to manufacture all their goods in France. Production is based in Pays de la Loire where shirts are created and Nord Pas-de-Calais for trousers and shorts.

Recently showing in Capsule Paris, Autumn/Winter 2012 looks to the standards of their homeland. The classic work jacket has been made over by just about everyone, this one stays pretty close to the originals with a few colours other than bleu adding a bit of interesting. Breton stripes, heavier wool work jackets and some of that dark, thick corduroy commonly found in vintage French workwear, the guys have racked up some impressive stockists already including C.H.C.M in New York and Garbstore in the UK. More over at French Truckers.
