Scrabble Typography Edition

Perhaps the only type of person more infuriating to lose a game of Scrabble to than a Scrabble enthusiast would be a typography nut. Type nerds, after all, have the unique ability to expound mercilessly on the mere appearance of a word, without even scratching the surface of its lexical (16 points!) validity.

Well, word and type boners will be rising high in the face of the Scrabble Typography Edition. This luxe, $200 set features solid walnut tiles boasting a whole variety of fonts. One better, their home is a walnut storage case that also holds a six-panel solid walnut magnetized game board with non-slip cork backing and metal tile racks. This is pretty hot, but if Cheltenham is not repped, we will be drafting a strongly (and beautifully) worded letter. (u)
