We’ve waxed rhapsodic on It’s Nice That magazine in the past, and are primed to do so again right here. Thing is, it was damn smart naming a magazine with an open-ended prompt for a positive thought. It’s nice that … it is already Wednesday. It’s nice that … I have some fresh coffee in my mug. It’s nice that … peach season is almost upon us. It just invites the mind to wander.
Issue #8 of INT offers up “a broad reflection on ‘space’—a catchall theme of huge breadth and constant relevance” and boasts architect John Pawson waxing minimalism; art collective Slavs and Tatars discussing humor; graphic design legend Paula Scher on the importance of mistakes; and controversial Dutch architects MVRDV introducing “architectural icebreakers.”
