Spanish shoemakers Carmina have been churning out quality footwear since 1886, known for their sharp European lines and commitment to making high quality shoes that are actually comfortable to walk in, something of a novelty in the high-end market. They’ve teamed up with New York store Epaulet to create these shortwing Fitzgeralds. A subtle brogue with a rounded toe and goodyear welted sole, this is created on the Forest last which Epaulet describes as a giving “a slightly higher toebox”. Calfskin dark brown leather, purple lining, waxed laces – these feel more toned down than many similar models we’ve features, perhaps one for those not looking to show-off. Find them here.
