Here’s some alluring interior design by Piero Paulo Gesualdi
, formerly a high-end shop owner who brought brands like Gaultier
and Comme de Garçons
to Melbourne, where he is based. He has been nominated for an Australian interior design award for this stunning rehab of an army drill hall built in 1935 that now serves as his office, showroom and home.
His design approach entails: “detailed research into materials and collaboration with talented craftsmen to produce a seamless integration of new and old, industrial and sculptural.” We wonder what the drill sergeant would think of all of this.
