Blackbird Bifrost Shirt

Hot damn does this shirt fit. Trim not tight, good length, no breast pocket—all of these elements serve this button-up smashingly. What is more, while you cannot tell from looking at it, it is of Black Metal Serfwear ilk—and not just because it hails from Blackbird, the Pacific Northwest’s den of such enjoyable murk.

The inspiration behind the shirt comes from The Bifrost, a rainbow bridge connecting Midgard (Earth) and Valhalla guarded by the God Heimdallr in Norse mythology. “The fabric is a cotton melange that shows slight variances of shading throughout the shirt,” we are told (in the context that the shading contrast is a metaphor for the bridge between two worlds). Heavy shit, like all BMS. Move with the speed of Thor’s whirling hammer to get one online.

More looks after the jump…
