Acne Spring/Summer 2013 pushed stripes with much enthusiasm. Generally wide on both the vertical and horizontal, these felt more prison than candy, managing to avoid nautical completely. Some cuts had a pyjama feel with the extensive use of silk, others armour as in the case of the sleveless leather vests. A brave move from the Swedish label, ‘Ambition to Create Novel Expression’ indeed.
