Spoonforkbacon helps us get our South American steak sandwich on with this recipe from Uruguay for a chivito, also know as a Uruguayan steak sandwich . We note the delicious addition of eggs into the flank steak as well as onions inside a conservative bun. We would be lying if we said we were not craving this steak sandwich at the moment.

1/2 tablespoon chile powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 lb thinly sliced London broil (or nicer cut, if you prefer)
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
Make your Mayonnaise:
1 telera roll (or bread/roll of your choice)
2 ounces ham, sliced
1 hard boil egg, sliced
red onion, thinly sliced
tomatoes, thinly sliced
