While McDonald’s are going to have to leap far to create something more spectacular than their 1980s Happy Meal digital watch, these reusable coffees cups prove that McD’s worldwide are not born equal. Whilst salt heavy grease snacks are their mainstay everywhere, the french branches have always been a step ahead (beer on tap? A half decent Salad? yeah, go on) and here they employ the skills of industrial designer Patrick Norguet for something special. Handed out free to customers, the reusable cups are part of an effort to reduce waste and up the profile of their McCafe brand. Available in 6 colours, subtle branding, foam holder, a surprisingly decent bit of design from the sinister clown.
