Ever since picking up a decent rice cooker a few months ago, I’ve been making loads of sushi rolls. Once you get used to the feeling of the rice taking form in your bamboo rolling mat, it is rather easy to roll with relative consistency, but my rolls are still a little pinched at the ends, which means the end pieces tend to fall apart.
Now, Sushi Bazooka! Simple as it looks—fill the chamber with sushi rice and strips of whatever, close it and then pump a perfect cylinder of goodness right onto your waiting sheet of nori. The thing sort of reminds me of a cigarette filling machine a friend had back in high school that deftly made oddly tapered joints a thing of the past.
