We have already extolled the virtues of grilled pizza and have thrown up a dough recipe as well, so this Korean BBQ Morel Pizza is just a rundown of some awesome toppings that make for some next level shit. Read all about it after the jump.
One round of dough
2 Tbsp Korean barbecue sauce
1-2 c of reconstituted morel mushrooms
3 round slices of provolone, cut into strips
1/4 c chives, chopped
This pizza can be made easily in the oven, but taking the extra steps to grill it means adding a bolster of smoky flavor to the mix. Whichever method you choose, when your pizza is ready for toppings, spread the barbecue sauce out with the back of a spoon and scatter the mushrooms over the surface. Lay the strips of cheese however you want to look at them and then sprinkle the chives over everything.
The tanginess of the provolone cheese rides parallel to the zip of Korean BBQ sauce and the mushrooms, well, they look like little foreskins. Try not this think about that as you dig in.
