Savile Row has a new resident. Alexander McQueen has just opened the doors to their men’s flagship store at 9 Savile Row. McQueen’s Sarah Burton conveiced the store concept with David Collins Studio, who were also responsible for the new women’s store concept. “The flagship will provide the largest offering for the men’s ready-to-wear line and accessories with plans to develop an in-house bespoke tailoring service housed at the workshop in the basement of the store.” The original parquet flooring remains. Plaster panels, which look like classic pieces, have been designed with McQueen motifs throughout.

Why didn’t Lee McQueen previously have a store in Savile Row? Maybe because he respected its traditions and didn’t want to openly piss on its demise. Homage my arse.

Well I shopped there to my demise! Trousers tailored incorrectly 3 time & never saw a tailor. In fact after nearly 2 weeks still waiting on the trouser! They don’t belong on Savile!!!!!!
