The founders of Tenue de Nîmes continue to expand their retail journey with a new store opening in the busy Haarlemmerstraat in Amsterdam. Continuing the denim adventure, the goal was to launch a bigger and more expansive Tenue de Nîmes (which from the looks of it, was achieved). The new space located in a historical building features a two-and-a-half story, 300 sq. meter showroom space with an interior largely focused on vintage and heritage. They stock a range of brands from RRL, Naked & Famous, Nigel Cabourn to Indigofera, LVC, Acne, mixed with vintage jeans and denim jackets from the 60s-80s.
There’s a separate men’s and women’s section referred to as Tenue de Nîmes ‘Mesdames’ and ‘Messieurs’. The women’s portion is defined by light colors, soft interior details and colorful artifacts by Eames, Horst Bruning and Tapio Wirkkala. While the men have a private section in the basement, which combines boxing spirit and wooden design.
