Tim Coppens Spring Summer 2013 Bomber Jacket

Tim Coppens takes on a modernist color palette in his rendition of the post-World War II fighter pilot bomber jacket and the Detroit techno music scene. Combining these two unlikely sources of inspiration led to a blend of textures and silhouettes dubbed as “Gentlemen of the Sky”. Made of cotton twill body with a V-shaped back, lamb leather sleeves and tromp l’oeil custom-ribbed neoprene cuffs, the jacket is all about exploring dimensional shapes. This made in US jacket will be available at Barneys in mid February.
