Set to the beat of Anne Clark’s Our Darkness (theHardfloor 97 Version), Dior Homme drilled down the runway a collection, designed Kris Van Assche, by that looks to the future an optimistic, self-made man. In their words: “This is the clothing of a new type of Technocrat. Here a wool ‘city’ pinstripe is pulled off-centre in navy and red; white and navy patent leather jackets point to a wipe clean life in a wipe clean world; soles and heels of shoes are encased in smooth, clear plastic to leave hardly a trace; traceless as the smoothly covered zip fastenings that predominate throughout and accentuate the athletic fit of the clothing.” Is the future here with Dior Homme?
