Fred Perry recently unveiled their latest project with Dover Street Market to celebrate their 60th year. Using their original 1952 shirt as a blank canvas, 60 artists, musicians, designers and the like were invited to customise the polo with the collection auctioned off for charity later in the year. Yesterday we posted our daytrip to the DSM press day, part of which was this impressive display of the anniversary collection. The list, too long to post in full, includes BEAMS, Damon Albarn, Bora Aksu, Sir Bradley Wiggins, Christopher Raeburn, Colette, David David, Douglas Coupland, Geoff McFetridge, i-D, Inez & Vinoodh, Jamie Reid, Karen Walker, Le Mont St. Michel..hold on, nearly there…MEDICOM TOY, Michael Lau, Neville Brody, Peter Jensen, Raf Simons, Sister by Sibling, The Specials, Stüssy, Terry Hall, Walter van Beirendonck and Wood Wood. So, pretty impressive right? As usual, we wanted a closer look, the results of which can be found in the gallery.
