J.Crew Fall Winter 2013 – Men’s and Women’s Collections

A big look through the entire men’s and women’s collections from J. Crew – coming for Fall Winter 2013. Wide angle portraits by David Bailey from the 1960′s inspire the collection particularly one of Michael Caine (who we happen to love as well). Classic garments are once again re-worked for the season by Frank Muytjens, J.Crew head of mens design.

The women’s collection pulls graphic patterns from rugs and tiles found in Marrakech. Contrasting colors and textures do the collection right. Note the menwear inspired cuts on some garments; we are seeing this more and more for fall.

    Beautiful collection!

The mens collection is so so. It’s the usual J-Crew styling that is currently in store, currently on sale and currently somewhere in an outlet. J-Crews focus is women’s wear which is exciting and desirable with key pieces that you want each season while keeping the essence of the brand.
They really need to expand and extend the menswear.
