Watch | 3Doodler: The World’s First 3D Printing Pen

It’s Nice That describe this Kickstarter project as INSANE and we’re finding it hard to argue. Lots of 3D gadgetry has been turning up of late because flat stuff is just so, y’know, lame. This has to be one of the most interesting out there. The 3Doodler from WobbleWorks operates rather like a glue pen, allowing you to draw in mid air “Using ABS plastic (the material used by many 3D printers), 3Doodler draws in the air or on surfaces. It extrudes heated plastic, which quickly cools and solidifies into a strong stable structure. This allows you to build an infinite variety of shapes and items with ease.” Look, we get that it’s a bit silly but for $75 via Kickstarter this is going to provide you with hours of fun (i.e writing rude words in three dimensions). See it in action below.
