From 2002 – 2012, Italy’s PIG magazine was the eyes and ears of all things good and now in the world of music, fashion and lifestyle from a Milanese perspective. PIG had many firsts including the first publication to feature the xx on their cover. While the text was written in Italian, the photography and subject matters covered in PIG resonated well beyond words.

After a year hiatus that saw the release of the massive PIG Decade compendium (collecting the very best of their ten years in print), the magazine returns as the new English language PIG Quarterly and looks to be as focused on the now as it ever has.

The new format and language choice will certainly elevate PIG to new readership in English, while retaining their essential Italian roots.

“The Famiglia” themes PIG Quarterly issue one, with a focus on “the lenses of music,  cinema, fashion, art, design and photography” as covered by new and young journalists. From an overview of the gang topic in cinema to ar by Los Angeles nun, Sister Corita, PIG Quarterly deserves a read from those who looking for unique and thoughtful portraits of those around us.
