Steven Alan Opens Home Shop in New York

More Home Shop openings. This time NYC receives a new addition by way of Steven Alan. The Tribeca store has been designed with the help of Fort Standard who created the fixtures, the space selling more unusual bits n’ pieces including rugs and kilims by Susan Gomersall and Azy Schecter of KEA in Brooklyn, furniture by Garza Marfa, Khadi and Co. hand woven blankets and towels, ceramics by Shino Takeda and pieces from the Brooklyn Glass Studio. Mr Alan describes “typically, many design stores are predictable and feel like when you go in once, you almost never need to go back. This is a quirky, eclectic assortment of things you want to buy; a space with both local and imported products from around the world.” Take a look inside in our gallery.
