If keeping track of your stress and fitness levels is at the top of your priority list design firm Zensorium offers a clever little tool to tell you where you stand at any given moment. The Tinké plugs into the bottom of your device and offers readings for your heart rate and rhythm as well as respiratory rate and blood oxygen levels. A simple pinch of the pad detects changes in skin blood volume and gives the results in their Vita or Zen index. This might feed borderline hypochondria a little too much for some people but it’s undoubtedly one cleverly designed little box. Compatible with devices running iOS 5.0 and above including iPhone 3GS, 4 and 4S, iPod Touch 3rd and 4th, iPad 2 & 3 whilst a 30 pin adapter is required for iPhone 5, iPod 5th generation, iPad Retina and Mini. Man, can you imagine you are this company working on this product for years and then Apple drops the 30-pin connector and makes an entirely new charging port? How screwed are they? How utterly embarrassing to be in their position, having to ask customers to use a stupid adapter. It’s like Belkin coming out with a new clock/radio iPod dock with the old 30 pin connector.
