The Avant/Garde Diaries speak to NYC Architect Ole Sondresen

More big-ups for New York, this time via The Avant/Garde Diaries. Architect Ole Sondresen talks about creating architecture that works with rather than against its environment. Using recycled and reclaimed material his firm develop news spaces from old. His 80 Wooster Street offices a great example of this ethos, formerly the basement studio of George Maciunas, the abandoned space once home to Fluxus gatherings with artists like Yoko Ono, Andy Warhol and Jonas Meka. His next project will be offices for Kickstarter in an old factory in Northern Brooklyn. Press Play.
