Aesop Shibuya Store Designed by Torafu Architects

Aesop open the doors to yet another new location, recently saying hello to Shibuya, Tokyo, their fifth store in Japan. The prolific Torafu Architects responsible for this one, as usual things are kept minimal and clean, glass playing a large part across the store, notably the façade and front door made up of brown, clear and corrugated glass panels. A charcoal timber floor leads into some beautiful sisal carpet, alongside a large mirrored wall, storage shelves, counter and work surfaces all in blackened steel. Is there a pink wall? Yes, there’s a pink wall, a little playfulness amongst the stark fittings and fixtures. Take a look in the gallery.
