See How Natural Light Fills this Two-Story Boathouse in Sydney

This next house is an interesting take on a classic boatshed originally built in the 19th century. Located in Sydney, Australia, the Lavender Bay Boatshed by Stephen Collier Architects reworks the foundations by harnessing harbor light to create a modern structure. The two story boat shed features timber linings on the roof, inspired by childhood memories of being under an upturned boat. The use of multiple skylights fill the house with the perfect amount of light from morning to evening. There’s also not much to complain about with the city skyline views.
