Inside the Profanity-Drenched Mr Bingo Hate Mail Exhibition in London

Mr Bingo launched his ‘Hate Mail’ exhibition last week at KK Outlet in East London. For those not aware of this foul-mouthed illustrator’s work, a little recap for you. ‘Illustrator Mr Bingo was drunk late one night in his studio and tweeted, “I will send a postcard with an offensive message on to the first person who replies to this tweet”. Within the first minute over 50 people replied…” In response to the public’s deep and growing need to be called a W**ker, Bingo has posted more than 550 abusive vintage postcards over the last twelve months, each with its own brilliant original illustration. KK Outlet will play temporary home to 250 unseen postcards also offering fans their own piece of Hate Mail, a unique opportunity to be told where to go, during the duration of the exhibition (keep an eye out here and here.) Take a look in the gallery for more and check out Crane TV’s short film on Bingo here.

Mr Bingo’s Hate Mail runs until 29 June - KK Outlet, 42 Hoxton Square, London N1 6PB.
