The New York Times heads to Asnières, a Northwestern suburb of Paris, to pay a visit to the Atelier of Louis Vuitton. In 1859 Mr Vuitton up-sticks from the capital, making this ‘Art Nouveau extravaganza,’ designed by son George, his home. Opposite the family residence, all stained glass windows and floral motifs, you’ll find the atelier itself.
