Street artists Ben Eine, best known for his multi-coloured, oversized alphabet sprayed across East London (and for being the artist whose work David Cameron chose to give President Obama) once again finds himself in high places. Last weekend Eine and his crew set to work to create a pop-up space in Selfridges for his collaboration scarf with non other than Louis Vuitton. Part of the ‘FOULARDS D’ARTISTES’ series featuring Eko Nugroho from Indonesia, Eine from the UK and Franco-Tunisian eL Seed, our man in London chose the phrase ‘Great Adventures’ reflecting Louis Vuitton’s history with travel, adding his graphic, bold, pop art vibe. We head over to the department store to take a look at installation in progress, head to the gallery for more, grab a scarf from Selfridges from July 1.
