NASCAR and Abstract Expressionism – Joseph Turvey No. 04 Spring Summer 2014

Back with British designer Joseph Turvey. Out with the Dalmatians, Spring Summer 2014 has an Abstract Expressionist and a rather famous racing driver in mind “This season I wanted to use blocks of colour to enhance my illustration prints. The blocks of colour came from my favorite artist Rothko and the prints derive from the history of Ethel Flock Mobley, one of the first female racing car drivers.”  Plenty of florals, bold stripes and big colours. Take a look in the gallery.
