Behind the Scenes on PORT Magazine’s Ralph Lauren RRL Tailoring Shoot

The latest issue of Port is filled with all sorts of great stuff; Carrie Fisher, Sir Kenneth Grange, prints big players as well as the ‘Land of my Brothers’ story we posted a while back. Flicking through we were equally impressed with a beautiful RRL story shot by Kalpesh Lathigra, styled by David St John James, celebrating the label’s 20th anniversary. Think Double RL and you’ll usually conjure up images of logo sweats, hunting vests, chinstrap shirts and washed out ‘plaid’. Port, however, choose to take a smarter route, concentrating on the brand’s excellent range of suits, styles from 1890s, ’30s, ’40s…all expertly cut. Here, we take a look behind the scenes on the shoot including plenty of close-ups on those amazing fabrics. Press play.
