Patagonia Look to the Past for their Latest Project – The Legacy Collection

A Continuous Lean heads to Patagonia HQ, Ventura California, to shed some light on the latest project from the outdoor dons . The Legacy Collection brings together ten pieces based on original designs from founder Yvon Chouinard and his crew. With 40 years experience to fall back on, the brand have picked out a selection of what they believe represents the best of early Patagonia. Die-hard fans may be disappointed to see that those brash patterned fleeces haven’t made a return however there’s plenty of goodness to console even the pickiest Pata followers. Organic cotton quilted pullover tops, an excellent purple ‘Summit Pack’ carrier, long length cagoules, hardwearing ‘Stand Up Pants’, comfy down jackets, ‘Alpiniste’ sweaters and pinstripe gilets. Head to the gallery for some great shots of repro and original side by side via ACL, peruse the beautifully shot lookbook from Foster Huntington and hear a little more about the collection’s origins in the video below. That enough for ya?
