Another great collection from London/Paris based brand Smith-Wykes. “SMITH- WYKES looks to reinterpret an outsiders perspective on Japanese design as seen through 1960‘s film, fashion and architecture. ” Linens, cottons, slub yarns and marl in subdued shades are brought together in the brand’s usual selection of textured crew neck knitwear, lightweight macs, softly tailored short (and wide) sleeved shirts and slim cut summer trousers. Prints and patterns particularly sharp in this latest collection, “Studio Small in London helped create special graphic interpretations of Japanese hand carved woodblock prints and kimono inspired stitch-craft,” check them out on a particularly nice jacket and matching shorts combo. Take a look in the gallery for more.
