Henrique Oliveira ‘Baitogogo’ Installation at Palais de Tokyo

Brazilian artist Henrique Oliveira presents baitogogo at Palais de Tokyo, Paris. Oliviera’s obsession with Tapumes wood (a tradtional Brazilian material) and natural forms continues, taking on quite incredible form as branches and roots twist and sprawl from existing pillars, filling the clean white space. “Creating a spectacular and invasive Gordian Knot, Henrique Oliveira plays with Palais de Tokyo’s architecture, allowing a work that combines the vegetal and the organic to emerge.”

Palais de Tokyo 13, Avenue du Président Wilson, 75 116 Paris, until September 9, 2013
