Thom Browne‘s Fall/Winter 2013 lookbook is much more subdued and commercial than the designer’s theatrical runway show of the collection which showed last January. Nowhere is the oversized, square top hat that made the catwalk so iconoclastic. But even without such statement accessories, the looks maintain Thom Browne’s dramatic flair: heavily padded shoulders, bold furs and colorful prints give some rich weight to the collection, proving that Browne does not need showy runway tactics to impress.

Ugh. I think this is terrible. I hate those shoulders. I know it’s a runway look, but still, it’s such a turnoff.

I like it. Its over the top, but you could definitely tone it down, and I LOVE short jackets. It goes with the cropped everything for women.
