Henrik Vibskov Spring Summer 2014, presented at Copenhagen Fashion Week, is a dizzying mix of multi-cultural print and clothing styles. The bold prints are an interesting cross of African colors and the Cubist aesthetic, reminiscent of Pablo Picasso or Piet Mondrian paintings. Models don Indian Sherwani-esque tunics and exaggerated Muslim Taqiyahs on top of swim caps, finished off by traditional Korean sangtu hair braids. Vibskov’s goal was to present visual disorder with this collection, and although there is no obvious reason why he named it “The Bathtub Observer,” even that seems to be in line with his intention.
