Warby Parker opens their first store on the West Coast, inside the lobby of The Standard, Hollywood. The store is designed with “California’s quintessential cool” in mind, with light wooden shelves and a deep blue wall reflected by mounted mirrors. Los Angeles-based artist Geoff McFetridge illustrates fun, graphic figures wearing glasses on the walls and pillars. Staying true to Warby Parker’s focus on discreetly intelligent style, books are displayed along the bottom shelves for added visual interest.

To accompany the store opening, the ultra cool eyewear brand once again teams up with The Standard in launching Standard Sounds x Warby Parker Artists-in-Residence, a program which fosters and gives exposure to rising musicians. Watch the video below for their first artist in the series.
